The cheese and quince ice cream was definitely the highlight. Friendly guy serving ice cream in this unassuming albergue. Delicious.
Amazing ice cream...the perfect end to a meal on a hot day! You must try the cheese n quince flavour...delicious!

I stopped here to buy and ice cream - the guy who served me was so so kind. I was feeling over emotional after a long day and thinking about my Dad, but the guy gave me a tissue. A glass of water and sorted out my room for the night in the adjoining hostal - the dorm was pretty much the best one I stayed in. The ice cream was spectacular by the way. Cheese and Membrillo. Yum.

Excellent ice creams albeit limited choice of flavours from Galician ice cream maker. Great service from David. My favourite is local cheese with quince. He also manages the adjoining pilgrims Hostal. Excellent location in centre of town.

Imprescindible parar si vas a pasar por Arzúa. A mi me lo recomendaron mientras hacía el camino. Cuando llegué estaba cerrado, pero por casualidad el dueño pasaba por allí y me abrió para poder probar su helado artesanal de queso de Arzua y Membrillo.

A must-stop if you're passing through Arzúa. It was recommended to me while I was hiking. When I arrived, it was closed, but by chance, the owner was passing by and opened the door for me so I could try their homemade Arzúa cheese and quince ice cream.
Helados de queso de Arzúa con membrillo espectaculares. Tienen poca variedad de otros sabores, pero suficiente y muy buenos. Puedes tomarlos dentro (funciona también como albergue). Atención muy amable.
